These secret oyster bars produce fish at low tide in Pellicer Creek! Today I launched at Princess Place Preserve in Palm Coast, Florida and battled the wind, chop, and low water conditions to make my way over to Pellicer Creek. I navigated back toward a lake area full of oyster bars. Along the way I caught flounder and speckled trout. And although I had to ford in a few spots on my quest for redfish, as you'll see in the video, it was well worth the effort! What a scenic and productive day of kayak fishing!

As you might know I’m evaluating Z-Man Paddle Tails with the idea that they will replace my current confidence bait, DOA Figi Chix Paddle Tail. To do so, I do need at least a few bait colors. Right now, both the Slam Shady and Sexy Penny color patterns are staying in the box! Wan't to know why? Enjoy the video!

Hobie Eyewear - Mojo Floats

As you know from the video, this year I'm going to essentially wear a different pair of Hobie Eyewear Fishing Sunglasses in each video. Honestly, I'll probably repeat a few from time to time.

In this video I'm wearing the Hobie Mojo model and I've got to tell you.... Hobie is the exclusive provider of my eyewear this year ... these sunglasses are great. My frames are satin black and the lens color is blue mirror. They're very comfortable, and very high quality! I highly recommend them.

  1. Hi Ron! I'm the old guy in the red Mohawk canoe. Love your work and look forward to your posts. Just a note: check the new regulations on flounder 14 min. length and 5 limit. I think the change was in March 2021. Hope that our paths cross someday , in the meantime keep them coming. John--

    1. Hi John, yes, you're absolutely correct. I'm glad we have that Fish Rules app to help us with these changing regulations! I'm also glad my minimum limit is 18" on Flounder....keeps me out of trouble! Tight lines!
