You might notice that I have inline single hooks on some/most of my hard baits. Here are the steps I follow for replacing treble hooks on lures with inline single hooks.

Find The Correct Inline Hook Size

Step 1 - Find Treble Hook Size

Look up your current treble hook up by printing page 6 of this chart and matching it.

Step 2 - Lookup Inline Single Hook Size

Use the chart on the owner website (see the image "Treble to Single Conversion Table") to look up the replacement: Owner 3X-Strong version or Owner's 1X-Strong version or Owner's 4X-Strong version ... different strengths have different options so if you can't find the right size in one of the tables, try a different strength altogether.

Step 3 - Shop For The Replacement

Locate the replacement model number on your favorite online store or in your local tackle shop. I found the cheapest price on Amazon for my replacement.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Step 4 - Replace The Hooks

Replace the treble hooks with the new single inline hooks using split ring pliers. The front hook should face forward when hanging down. The back hook should face backwards when hanging down.

Step 5 - Go Fish!

Go catch some fish! Tight lines!
